Talks began at the Thomas Lang workshop in Cape Town when Iwan met Bernie Amon from Meinl Germany's EMEA Division. Bernie expressed interest in forming a partnership to build Meinl's brand in the ever growing South African market, and the guys were more than keen to team up with on of the world's biggest and best known percussion brands.
